Have your say about living in Neath Port Talbot 🗣️

The council has launched Let’s Talk: Living in NPT, a survey for residents that asks for their views on council services, what the council's priorities should be, how they interact with the council and their experience of living in their local area.

The survey is open until Sunday, August 10th, 2025. Anyone aged 16 or over and living in Neath Port Talbot can take part.

The quickest way to participate in the survey is online.

Printed questionnaires will also be available at libraries in the county borough, Neath Civic Centres or Port Talbot Civic Centre.

Any residents unable to complete the survey online or collect a paper copy can email: letstalk@npt.gov.uk, text the words ‘Paper Survey’ with your name and address to 07805 771506, or phone 07805 771506 and leave your name and address after the tone.

Get involved and share your thoughts by completing this survey: www.npt.gov.uk/consultations

Age-friendly Employer Pledge

Neath Port Talbot Council has signed the Age-friendly Employer Pledge, a free nationwide programme launched by the Centre for Ageing Better to improve the recruitment, retention and development of older workers.

With skills shortages in the labour market and an ageing population, older workers can play a vital role in overcoming this. It has never been more important for employers to become age-friendly and take advantage of older workers’ skills and experience.

By signing the pledge, the council is demonstrating their support to tackling ageism in the workplace and committing to taking at least one action a year to improve the way they recruit, manage and support older workers.

Neath Port Talbot Council is proud to be joining over 100 other leading organisations in taking action to help older workers flourish in the workplace.
