Hundreds of people in Bonnie Tyler's hometown of Skewen and beyond have lined the streets to applaud, sing and celebrate the singer as she made her final journey following her death aged 75.

Many flowers were placed onto the bonnet of the hearse, while some of her biggest hits could be heard from nearby businesses as the procession made its way from Swansea Minster to a private family funeral.

One of Europe’s oldest chartered fairs is back this September, bringing five days of family fun, thrilling rides, delicious food and bustling market stalls to Neath town centre. 🎉

New for 2026, visitors can enjoy a fascinating miniature fairground exhibition at Neath Library, featuring working model rides and historic fairground memorabilia. The library is also hosting a special exhibition celebrating more than 700 years of Neath Great Fair history.
