Welcome to the latest edition of our South and Vale Business Support newsletter!

The Government has urged shoppers to take part in Shop Local Week to help local businesses rebuild from COVID-19. The scheme is part of the Enjoy Summer Safely campaign, encouraging people to get back to normal while staying safe.

By shopping locally, people can help local business owners and local communities get back up and running.

We're encouraging shoppers to support their local high streets now that it's safe to go back and visit.

Your lockdown lifestyle: how active are you?

Nationally, 33% of adults are doing less exercise than before the COVID-19 outbreak and 40% of children are doing less than 30 minutes a day.

South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse District Councils would like to understand the impact COVID-19 is having on your physical activity levels and attitudes towards getting active. Your answers will help us plan for a safe return to activities that we run or support in your local area.

Those who would like to contribute have until Tuesday 8 September 2020 to fill in the survey.

Complete the survey here.
