Register your interest for the Health on the Move mobile vaccination van

Local businesses are invited to register their interest for the NHS Health on the Move mobile vaccination van to visit their premises, if they have a significant number of staff who haven’t yet been able to receive the COVID-19 vaccination.

This will give your employees the chance to receive either their first or second dose of the vaccination at their place of work and further support our communities in protecting themselves against coronavirus.

Book a test drive and join the electric vehicle revolution

Electric vehicle test drive events are taking place in Oxfordshire throughout August to showcase electric vehicles (EVs) and an innovative new way of charging them.

On Friday 20 August, the event will be taking place within Kings Road car park in Henley. The test drives form part of Oxfordshire’s £5.2 million 'Park and Charge' project that has been awarded funding from Innovate UK as part of the government’s investment in British engineering to transform electric charging infrastructure.

Event organisers are working alongside local dealerships Go Green Autos, North Oxford MINI and Jaybee Motors.

Book an EV test drive on the Park and Charge website.
Ride Revolution – could your business help?

Ride Revolution is a new project that takes in unwanted bikes from people, rather than them going to landfill and recycle centres, to be restored or repaired by the community. The refurbished bikes are given to individuals from disadvantaged families in South and Vale.

Our Active Communities team are looking for businesses to support this project by either providing space to store donated bikes before they are moved on to our restoration workshop, or assist in the transportation of the bikes to the workshop. Any business that supports this initiative will get their name and logo on all promotional materials and social media as a supporting partner in the scheme.
