Welcome to the last 2021 edition of the SVBS newsletter.

Our Winter Support Grants have now closed for applications, and we wanted to highlight the next steps. You can view our anticipated timeline below to find out when your business can expect to receive a funding decision.

Following recent concerns about the Omicron variant and the subsequent announcement of the UK's move to 'Plan B', we're also seeking to understand the economic impact on the area's businesses.

If your business has been impacted by the latest developments, and you would like to highlight your situation within our business intelligence reports, please email details to business.support@southandvale.gov.uk.

Remember, if you have business news, an event, or opportunity or you would like us to feature, please get in touch.

Finally, despite these uncertain times, we hope you all have a lovely Christmas and a very happy New Year.

Have your say in the Enterprise Nation Small Business Barometer 2021

Small business owners are the lifeblood of the UK economy, and we want to make sure that their voices are heard.

Last year, Enterprise Nation's research revealed some fascinating insights about the conditions and pressures faced by small firms. This year, they're back with a Small Business Barometer to collect the thoughts of small businesses and see if anything has changed.

By completing this short survey, your views will influence the support that Enterprise Nation delivers in 2022, and the information supplied will be outlined to key decision makers in government.

The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and as a thank you, you'll be in with a chance of winning £300 of Not On The High Street vouchers and two online tickets to the StartUp 2022 event.
