This week, we're focusing on our final free digital course for businesses, where we'll be teaming up with Concise Training to show you how to use LinkedIn to generate business. Further information can be found below.

We're also highlighting our new online marketplace for South and Vale based businesses and Vale of White Horse District Council's new Climate Action Fund, open for applications until midday on 25 April 2022. An application form can be found further through this newsletter.

Does your business have a presence on LinkedIn?

We've teamed up with Concise Training to deliver a free workshop on using LinkedIn to generate business. This workshop is aimed at South and Vale based businesses and will cover the main aspects of LinkedIn, with an emphasis on creating optimised profiles, using LinkedIn for relationship and content marketing, and making use of the LinkedIn database.

At the end of this webinar, businesses will be able to create an optimised personal and business profile, develop a personal network and build relationships, create engaging content and use the LinkedIn search functionality.

  • Creating content that will build your brand, attract prospects and establish you as an authority in your sector

Apply for Vale of White Horse District Council's Climate Action Fund

Communities are invited to apply for a share of Vale of White Horse District Council's new £50,000 Climate Action Fund, which is open to all town and parish councils and local not-for-profit groups.

Grants from £250 to £5,000 are available for projects that help to tackle climate change and increase people’s awareness and knowledge of the climate emergency.

The scheme closes for applications at midday on 25 April 2022. Further information can be found here.

Register for our free online marketplace for South and Vale businesses

We’ve partnered with ShopAppy to pilot an online marketplace for independent High Street businesses located in South and Vale.

The platform will be free for the area’s businesses to access over the first 12 months of the scheme (excluding bank / card charges). Businesses will need to allocate just 20 minutes a week to managing their profile.
