Globally, we are living as if we have more than one planet. Ecological footprinting shows that if everyone in the world consumed as much as the average person in western Europe, we’d need three planets to support us.

Imagine a world where everyone, everywhere lives happy, healthy lives within the limits of the planet, leaving space for nature. This is called One Planet Living, and we're encouraging local businesses, community groups, charities and other organisations to get involved.

We've partnered with Oxfordshire Greentech and Bioregional to host a free online session on the One Planet Living framework to help organisations start their sustainability journey.

Date and time:
Thursday 30 March
10am - 12pm, via Zoom

The One Planet Living framework is designed to support you to create a 'One Planet Action Plan' that acts as a route map towards a more sustainable future for your organisation. It comprises:
  • Ten simple principles that cover all aspects of social, environmental and economic sustainability

  • Detailed goals and guidance documents – these provide advice and ideas on the goals, actions, targets and indicators you could set for your 'One Planet Action Plan' - this is your plan to achieve One Planet Living.

By the end of the session, you will understand the climate and ecological emergency, understand what role your organisation has to play in addressing it, and have begun to develop some sustainability actions and ideas to take away and deliver.

You'll also have access to templates and tools to help you begin your sustainability journey.

Please note that spaces are limited to ONE person per organisation. This workshop is for South and Vale businesses, community groups, charities and other organisations.
