- Team SVBS
We only have a couple of spaces left for our One Planet Living workshop, taking place this Thursday from 10am - 12pm via Zoom.

Please note that spaces are limited to ONE person per organisation. This workshop is for South and Vale businesses, community groups, charities and other organisations only.

The One Planet Living framework is designed to support you to create a 'One Planet Action Plan' that acts as a route map towards a more sustainable future for your organisation. It comprises:

  • Ten simple principles that cover all aspects of social, environmental and economic sustainability
  • Detailed goals and guidance documents – these provide advice and ideas on the goals, actions, targets and indicators you could set for your 'One Planet Action Plan' - this is your plan to achieve One Planet Living
By the end of the session, you will understand the climate and ecological emergency, understand what role business has to play in addressing it, and have begun to develop some sustainability actions and ideas to take away and deliver. You'll also have access to templates and tools to help you begin your sustainability journey.

The last few years have been tough for local businesses, and we want them to know how much we appreciate them.

ShopAppy's Favourite Family Business campaign encourages local communities to show their appreciation by nominating their most loved family-run businesses.

Nominations are open until 18 June 2023. The winner will be announced on 22 June 2023 and will receive ShopAppy’s Favourite Family Business award.

Additionally, one lucky nominator will receive a £50 voucher to spend on the ShopAppy website.
