Welcome to a special edition of our South and Vale Business Support newsletter!

As a precaution against the recent Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, this year’s South and Vale Business Awards Evening Ceremony – due to take place on Friday 22 May at Williams Conference Centre – has been rescheduled for 16 October.

The online finalist’s announcement, due to take place on Wednesday 18 March, will now provisionally take place on Wednesday 24 June.

This was a difficult decision to make and we understand that this will be disappointing news for the awards entrants and our award sponsors, however, we believe it to be the right decision given the current climate. As organisers, the South and Vale Business Support team will be redirecting our resources to support local businesses impacted by the challenges of Coronavirus.

The team and all our award sponsors would like to express their appreciation to all businesses that put so much effort into entering the awards and we apologise for any inconvenience caused by this rescheduling.

For more information, and if your business has any concerns about the impact of Coronavirus, please contact us at business.support@southandvale.gov.uk. You can also find the latest summary of UK Government response here.
