Welcome to Horley

A massive thank you to the Horley Lions who have been going around to all our 'Welcome to Horley' signs' giving them a wash and brush up, and adding some much-appreciated colour around the bases.
April Gatwick Stream/Pond Litter Pick

We collected 9 bags of rubbish and a scooter. We were assisted by four new helpers which included Councillor Hannah Avery and Councillor Christian Stevens. Thank you to everyone for taking the time to come and help on Easter Sunday.

Judging by many positive comments from the community, we are continuing to make a big impact. One dog walker told us that since we started the monthly litter pick, much less litter seems to be being dropped.

Next litter pick around the Gatwick ponds/stream will be bank holiday Monday 8th May as part of the 'Big Help Out'. If anyone wants help co-ordinating their own litter pick this summer as part of this event, they can contact me on 07796 693423.
Q Garden Update

Thanks again to the amazing 'Q garden' volunteers who keep the garden area on near Russells Crescent and The Drive looking so wonderful. A few weekends ago the volunteers were out again weeding and pruning to tidy up the garden as we enter into spring.
