Start for Life Programme, Honeyhill Place-based Pilot. Supporting families with their children's speech, language and communication development
This document has been collated in direct response to feedback from operational staff across the Healthy Child Programme, Child & Family Centres, Early Years Settings, maternity teams and schools within the Honeyhill area.

Almost 8 in 10 staff members said that they would find it useful to have access to refresher training or resources relating to supporting a child’s speech, language and communication development.

This document brings together a series of bite-size resources – both written and video-based – that have been recommended by practitioners that you might find useful as refresher training.  It organises the resources by topic, and tells you what each resource is likely to be useful for.

This is not designed to be a formal training programme that any member of staff is compelled to complete. Instead, it is something for you to dip in to when you have a spare few minutes, or when you would like to refresh your knowledge on a certain topic.
