Following our recent support of a new multi-use games area (MUGA) at RAF Odiham, the PTIs decided to give back by organising a Fitness Test Challenge to raise money for the RAF Central Fund.
Earlier this month, five members of the PEd flight completed an RAF Fitness Test to the highest green standard every hour, on the hour, for 24-hours.
As well as being able to donate towards the event, spectators could also sponsor the PTIs to complete challenges in fancy dress, including characters such as Captain America, Batman, a turkey and more. During the event they also hosted a raffle and games to raise even more money. Completing their challenge the following morning, the team managed to rack up a staggering 9,960 shuttle runs, 4,200 sit ups and 2,400 press ups between them!
A massive THANK YOU to Cpl Jack Rogers, Cpl Luke Bushnell, Cpl Johnny Jenkins, Sgt Michael Barnes and Sgt Christopher Goodwin for being such great sports and raising over £1,000 for our charity!
