INTRODUCING OUR ANNUAL IMPACT REPORT
The RAF Central Fund is proud to share its inaugural Impact Report. This comprehensive reflection captures the essence of our work throughout 2024 and the tangible difference we are making to the lives of thousands of serving RAF personnel through sport and physical activity.
Ross Perriam, CEO of the RAF Central Fund, explains: “The 2024 Impact Report demonstrates our unwavering commitment to supporting the wellbeing and resilience of serving RAF personnel.

We feel it is important to share the successes and stories behind the work we do. The last year was groundbreaking for the Fund as we welcomed 36 Sports Associations into our fold and developed our first-ever Commercial strategy, focused on increasing the breadth and depth of support we offer to sports in the RAF.

These steps forward will allow us to deliver on Central Fund’s mission to ensure that all serving personnel have the opportunity to engage in sport and physical activity."
SAFEGUARDING MENTAL HEALTH THROUGH SPORT
May saw us highlight Mental Health Awareness Week with the theme this year being community and how it helps to support our mental wellbeing.

As the RAF’s charity for sport and physical activities, we know that mental resilience is just as vital as physical strength. That’s why sporting communities play a key role in helping us to safeguard not only physical health but also the mental wellbeing of serving personnel.

From football to fencing, rugby to rowing, water skiing to weightlifting, and everything in between, RAF Sport brings us together, builds camaraderie, and offers a powerful outlet for stress. Your sporting community can be anything from an RAF Sports Association, a station club or even regular lunchtime walks with colleagues! Together, we support, we move, and we grow – on and off the field.
