NATIONAL FITNESS DAY CHALLENGE RESULTS!
On 24 September we ran our annual RAF Inter-Facility Challenge with Myzone in celebration of National Fitness Day. Encouraging as many people to get as physically active as possible, we challenged Myzone users to earn as many MEPs (Myzone Effort Points) as they could during a 24hr period to help their facility compete for the challenge trophy. 

Having verified the qualifying facilities and individuals who earned 100+ MEPs, and after dividing the total points earned by the number taking part to keep the challenge as fair as possible no matter the facility size, RAF Cranwell were announced as the 2025 winners with a huge collective average of 642 MEPs!

A special shoutout also goes to RAF Brize Norton who came in second place, RAF Akrotiri third and the Central Fund facility fourth.

THAT'S A WRAP ON 2025 RAFCF SUMMER ROADSHOWS
September marked the end of our summer roadshows, with visits to RAF Cosford for their CO's Cup and RAF Benson in support of their Health and Wellbeing Day.

Over the summer months, we’ve been on the road bringing energy, excitement, and plenty of sporting action to several RAF stations - spreading the word about our work as a charity and encouraging more personnel to get active. From CO's Cups and inflatable obstacle courses to an old-school egg and spoon race, hundreds of personnel laced up their trainers and got involved in a wide range of sports, games, and fitness fun!

Our charitable work wouldn’t be possible without your support through the RAF Sports Lottery - a simple yet impactful way to help fund the future of sport and physical activity across the RAF. Every ticket helps create more opportunities to stay active and connected through sport, with a great chance of winning big cash prizes too!

The RAF Central Fund was delighted to welcome a number of partners, Sport Associations and elite athletes to collaborate at our very first Sponsorship Networking Event at the RAF Club earlier this month.

The event was designed to create a unique platform for strengthening connections as we brought together representatives of RAF Sport and many of our current and prospective sponsors for an afternoon of networking and presentations from guest speakers.
