OVs FOR ALL - ENJOYING THE BENEFITS OF
RAF SPORT AS A MASTER
Last Autumn, the RAF Netball Association visited sunny Australia on an overseas visit designed to develop teamwork, communication and tactical skills whilst demonstrating Masters level participation in RAF Sport internationally. We caught up with two of the players who came into the team from very different starting points to find out exactly how important overseas visits are and why it’s never too late to take up a sport and join an association.
MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
JOB VACANCY
Want to work for a charity supporting the RAF?

We are looking for a creative, passionate and experienced Marketing & Communications Manager to join our team. The role is focused on supporting the Fund’s strategic direction to develop the marketing and communications plans for the Fund, the RAF Sports Lottery (its principal fundraising tool) and future fundraising endeavours.
DAMBUSTERS CHALLENGE
VIRTUAL AND REAL BUT BOTH PHYSICAL!
To mark the Dambusters 80th anniversary, RAF Marham has organised two fundraising challenges in support of our charity.

The Marham Flyers Dambusters Commemoration Virtual 80K challenge requires participants to run, jog, walk or cycle 80km at times of their choosing between 1 April and 30 June. With over a month still to go, a small entrance fee of just £12, plus a medal and certificate on completion, it’s not too late to enter. Please visit: https://totalracetiming.co.uk/race/433

The Marham Flyers Dambusters Commemoration 10K is a running race around Marham airfield taking place on Sunday 4 June. It is a flat and largely traffic free course, so there are lots of opportunities for PBs. With over 70% of spaces filled, there are still places available but get yours in quickly to avoid disappointment. Please visit: https://totalracetiming.co.uk/race/431
