With quaint honey-coloured stone cottages and pretty villages, this area of England offers the quintessential British experience. Located in the heart of the country, there are beautiful gardens to explore, castles and house to discover, and traditional tea rooms and pubs to relax in. With its central location, many of the main sites and villages are within an easy journey from one another making for relaxed touring days. In addition, there are historic towns and cities located on the edge of this region which add to the itinerary possibilities such as Warwick with its mighty castle, Bath with its Georgian architecture and Jane Austin connections, Oxford with its many spires, and Stratford-upon-Avon which is synonymous with William Shakepeare. To follow is a suggested itinerary of the highlights, however there is much more to see and do to create a diverse itinerary for your travellers to enjoy.
