The welcoming, family run 3 star Hotel Haymon is located in the centre of the Alpine village of Seefeld, within an easy stroll of the Old Town and nearby Lake Wildersee. Surrounded by the Alps, on one of the highest plateaus in the region, visits to Innsbruck, Lake Achensee and Mayrhofen are possible, as well as the nearby Bavarian Alps.

Based in Seefeld for five nights, there’s a day at leisure to explore the village at your own pace.  Take the short journey to the regional capital, Innsbruck to marvel at the impressive Golden Roof, Imperial Palace and Hofkirche.  A guided walking tour of the city is highly recommended (please ask for details) before returning to Seefeld via the pretty village of Reith with its nature trails.

Experience a full day exploring across the border in the Bavaria Alps region with a scenic journey to Ettal, famed for its magnificent Benedictine Monastery and brewery. Return via the alpine town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, in the shadow of Zugspitze, the highest peak it the region.

Head to the Ziller Valley to the popular, bustling town of Mayrhofen to stroll around its vibrant centre, full of shops and cafes, or take the cable car into the high mountains for unforgettable views of the region.

Venture to the picturesque Lot and Dordogne Valleys, where we stay in the very heart of the region, the historic pilgrimage centre of Rocamadour, at the family run 2 star Lion d’Or Hotel known for its welcoming atmosphere and attractive views across the l’Azou Canyon.  A wonderful location to explore the hill top towns, spectacular gardens and meandering Dordogne River.

Via the short Channel crossing, overnighting in the Orleans area before heading through the French countryside and past Limoges to arrive in Rocamadour for a five night stay. Start your visit with a day at leisure to relax and explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site with its imposing mediaeval castle, monastic buildings and charming pedestrian centre.

A morning visit to the historic hilltop town of Domme to take in the impressive views across the region. Continue on to the pretty riverside town of La Roque-Gageac for a cruise on a traditional barge.

Travel west, to the picturesque town of Sarlat-la-Canéda, known for its local food delicacies. The cobbled streets of the old town are full of shops and pavement cafes, as well as the Cathedral and Chateau to discover. Return to Rocamadour via the mediaeval town of Souillac with time to explore.

Northwards to the vibrant town of Brivela-Gaillarde. Enjoy the arts, crafts, local food and drink produced in the town. There are also fascinating museums including the Edmund Michelet museum recounting life in the resistance during WWII.

Homeward bound with an overnight stay on the outskirts of Paris before the short Channel crossing back.

The four star Park Hotel is located in the small elegant city of Winterthur. A scenic tour that revels in meadows, mountains and lakes with highlights including the spectacular Lakes of Constance, Zurich, Zug and Lucerne.

Heading to Switzerland via the short Channel crossing. Overnighting in the Metz region to arrive in Winterthur and a day at leisure to explore the many sights or simply stroll through the historic Old Town with its pavement cafes and numerous shops. Two of the city's main parks are within an easy walk of the hotel.

Delight in a full day excursion to Lucerne, via Zugersee and some free time in the pretty lakeshore town of Zug. In Lucerne, discover the elegant old town, Lion Monument and Chapel Bridge, ending the day with a relaxing cruise on Lake Lucerne.

Beginning the day in the historic city of St Gallen with its stylish old town dominated by the Abbey of St Gall. Cross the border into Germany and on to the charming city of Constance. Explore the historic Niederburg area which is home to the main attractions in the old town.

It is a short journey to Zurich and discover the squares and alleyways of its mediaeval centre where a guided walking tour is included to enhance the visit. Travel down the length of Zurichsee, over the bridge to Rapperswil, with time at leisure to walk around in this attractive lakeshore town
