Showcasing the best of the Southern Counties with a variety of carefully selected excursions including a river cruise and vineyard visit.  Tours are based on Thursday departures.

Stop at Denbies Vineyard for a vineyard train tour savouring a glass of bubbly and commentary, taking visitors at a leisurely pace to some of the most beautiful viewing points in the vineyard and the North Downs. On then to the honeymoon spot of the late Queen Mother and the future King George VI, the National Trust’s Edwardian retreat, Polesdon Lacey.

Head north this morning to Maidenhead for a leisurely cruise with commentary on the River Thames, destination Windsor. See the houses of the stars, through Bray and Bovenley Locks, passing Oakley Court and Monkey Island. Soak in the spectacular views of Windsor Castle, before disembarking for an afternoon at leisure.

The Amberley Museum and Heritage Centre (open Weds to Sun) provides a morning’s fascinating visit. The 36 acre home to traditional craftspeople and dedicated to the industrial heritage of the south east, set in the heart of the South Downs National Park and can be explored using the narrow-gauge railway or vintage bus. The afternoon is at leisure to discover Portsmouth.

Royal Albert Dock underwent regeneration in the 1980s and is now a major tourist attraction. Here, join 'The Floating Grace' to enjoy a midday cruise for a tour of Liverpool's historic docks and marina with the added bonus of Afternoon Tea. Time at leisure follows. Why not pop into the Tate Gallery or walk the short distance to the main shopping area of Liverpool One?

Head to the Wirral to join one of Liverpool's ultimate sightseeing experiences, a River Explorer Cruise on a celebrated Mersey Ferry. Disembarking at Pier Head, take the short hop to the Beatles Story and an immersive Beatlemania journey through time into the lives and music of The Beatles.

To the Lost Gardens of Heligan, amazingly discovered in 1991 under a blanket of brambles after 70 years of neglect. Many of the original plants have been rescued.
