Cruise Loch Lomond (Visit Scotland)

Journey from Crianlarich to Oban (Geotourist)

Under Loch and Quay
5 Days/4 Nights - From £639

Staying amid some of the most scenic parts of Scotland, enjoy a cruise of one of Scotland's best known lochs and take one of Scotland's most memorable rail journeys past Kilchurn Castle and Loch Awe to the coastal town of Oban. Located on the western shore of Loch Fyne, visit Inveraray, a former royal burgh and known affectionately as "The Capital of Argyll."

Staying at the family owned 3 star Best Western, Crianlarich with 36 comfortable and well-appointed bedrooms, a great base being uniquely located within easy reach of Glencoe, Loch Lomond, Loch Tay and Oban & the Western Isles.

An included cruise on Loch Lomond, sailing from Tarbet, is a delightful way to enjoy the dramatic scenery of the 'bonnie banks', with Ben Lomond to the north.  There's live commentary and refreshments to be enjoyed too.

Board the Scotrail scenic rail service at Crianlarich station to pass through beautiful Glen Lochy, past the ruins of Kilchurn Castle and onwards to Loch Awe and the coastal town of Oban.  Enjoy some time at leisure here before travelling to Inverary. With stunning Georgian architecture, overlooking the water of Loch Fyne, we include a visit to the town's historic jail and county court, now a living museum portraying the life in a 19th century prison.

Revel in beautiful and impressive Scottish landscape today travelling through Perthshire. Heading to the market town of Crieff before heading to Pitlochry to spend time to discover its charming town centre where you can explore the many independent shops or you may venture to possibly see a salmon traversing the Pitlochry Dam's fish ladder. Heading next to Aberfeldy and onwards to Kenmore, passing Taymouth Castle, once considered by Queen Victoria as a Scottish home, before travelling along Loch Tay, past Ben Lawers, to Killin and the impressive Falls of Dochart.

Your tour includes:

4 nights half board in Perthshire with full Scottish breakfast and three course, three choice dinner with tea and coffee.
