Isle of Mull (Visit Scotland)
Day 1 – Travel through the beautiful Trossachs National Park, along the “bonnie banks” of Loch Lomond, the largest inland stretch of water in Britain, to arrive in Oban.  This bustling harbour town is the Gateway to the Isles and its name means “little bay” in Scotland’s ancient Gaelic language.  The climb to McCaigs tower is well worth the effort for the spectacular views across Oban Bay and will work up an appetite for dinner in your centrally located hotel this evening.
Day 2 – Catch the morning ferry across to the Isle of Mull.  Enjoy a scenic journey across Mull to board the foot passenger ferry, enabling you to reach the tiny island of Iona.  It may be small, at just 1.5 miles wide by 3 miles long, but makes up for it with a huge history as the Cradle of Christianity in Scotland.  Visit the fascinating Abbey, founded by St Columba in 563 AD, and enjoy the peace and quiet of this spiritual place before retracing your steps to Oban.
Day 3 – Travel north, along the shores of Loch Linnhe, to reach Fort William and board the famous Jacobite Steam Train.  Taking just over 2 hours, you cross the impressive Glenfinnan Viaduct and journey through some truly spectacular scenery, which often features in blockbuster films.  Arrive in Mallaig for the short ferry crossing to your third Scottish island, and the largest in the Inner Hebrides - the Isle of Skye.  Get a taste of the contrasting mountain and coastal views en route to your overnight accommodation on the island.
Day 4 – A full day exploring the landscape and history of Skye with a range of visitor attractions such as The Museum of Island Life for a taste of how islanders lived 100 years ago; Dunvegan Castle, the oldest continuously inhabited castle in Scotland and of course a whisky distillery for a taste of the famous tipple.  There are also amazing natural landscapes with wonderfully named features such as Fairy Pools, Kilt Rock and the Old Man of Storr. Stay another night on the Isle to make the most of your time here.
Day 5 – Return to the mainland, this time by the Skye Bridge, to visit the picture perfect Eilean Donan Castle before continuing your adventure. From here, you can head north, south or east on the mainland, or, if your appetite for islands has been whetted, northwards to the Orkney Islands or the Outer Hebrides including the Isles of Harris and Lewis. Whatever you choose, Scotland is there to be explored…....

Floriade is the Netherlands' once in a decade horticultural event. Staged in Almere, close to Amsterdam and themed around 'The Green City of the Future', this huge expo site is already under construction. Visitors can expect a festival to stimulate all the senses.
The Passion Play is a testimony of religious faith and outstanding tradition. The singing, acting and staging are magnificent. Tours usually combine the Passion Play and a second centre destination. Early planning is essential.
