For 2027, we have extended our stay for this popular tour to four nights at the centrally located, 3 star Le Grand Hotel l'Esperance, situated close to the main sights and amenities in Lisieux which is an excellent base for exploring the Normandy Coast, D Day Beaches, Rouen, Caen and Monet's Garden at Giverny. The hotel features 90 comfortable bedrooms, stylish lounge and bar area and restaurant. The hotel does have a lift and on site coach parking.
Travel along the Normandy Flower Coast, stopping the the coastal town of Deauville and on to Honfleur. We include a visit to the renowned family distillery of Domaine Calvados Christian Drouin. Situated in a leafy setting in the Touques Valley, the production of a range of products takes place in half timbered buildings dating back to the 17th century. Savour a tour and tasting of Calvados, cider and local cheeses.
Enjoy a day in the capital of Normandy, Rouen. Wander at your own pace along the cobbled streets in the old town and venture to the old historic market place where Joan of Arc met her fate. Visit the Cathedral Notre-Dame, often painted by Monet.
There's a full day's visit to Monet's House and Gardens in Giverney, his home for 43 years and inspiration for many of his iconic works.
