Digitalisation as a tool for decarbonisation
Make UK is about to publish the results of research looking at the impact of digitalisation projects in helping manufacturers with their decarbonisation programmes. The report looks at a whole host of digitalisation tools and technologies that were implemented, with the vast majority of manufacturers seeing improvements in areas such as productivity, energy efficiency and more – some of them pretty big improvements. But what really caught my eye was the 3% of manufacturers who didn’t see any improvements at all. What, I wondered, could have gone so badly wrong?
With best regards
