Highlighting the importance of energy saving technologies
Manufacturers hit by the rises in gas and electricity prices are desperate to cut their energy use, says a new report published by Make UK. At the same time, those same manufacturers will have their own Net Zero targets that they’re keen to achieve. Manufacturers will surely have been looking at a range of measures to bring their costs down, but perhaps there is an opportunity here for machine builders to highlight the likes of energy efficient motors and other energy saving technologies. And who knows, if the Government is listening, perhaps we may also see tax incentives for manufacturers to invest in just those products.
With best regards
