Ask the experts!

Fastening and assembly is not an area that many engineers have received specialist training in, yet when it comes to designing, maintaining or modifying a product, the way in which it is put together (or is included into a larger assembly), invariably raises its head at some point. Add in the fact that on many applications there might be lots of different joining methods and a large number of potential products to consider and it can take time to arrive at the optimum solution. One way to reduce the amount of time taken - to say nothing of the hassle and cost incurred - is to ask the experts. Some of them are featured below and could be well worth a look!
