Opportunities for adhesives in medical applications

The specialty adhesives market is anticipated to grow at a rate of more than 4% CAGR between now and 2028, and a big chunk of that growth will come from rising demand in the medical industry. As just one example, new research from Report Ocean points to the increased use of adhesive tapes in medical procedures: according to the Aesthetic Association, the US spent more than $9bn on cosmetic surgery in 2020. So if you’re not yet focused on the wider applications for adhesives in the medical industry, there could be an abundance of opportunities.
