Reaping the benefits of rapid prototyping

Maximising opportunities for a given design can often come down to effective prototyping – reducing the timescale for having prototypes produced and so, in turn, compressing the timescale to assess that prototype for functionality and ease of production. For companies lacking the in-house capability, there are many options for outsourcing prototype production to companies with both the design and production expertise. If that gets your product to market faster, not only can you gain first mover advantage, but reducing timescales could also play a key role in reducing business costs. A real win-win situation.

With best regards
