Finding the optimum joining solution for any given application

With growing numbers of adhesive formulations, many different styles of mechanical fasteners and fastening systems, not to mention temporary and semi-permanent fixing solutions, the number of options available to the design engineer might seem bewildering. But it does mean that there is always an optimum solution for any given task, as the stories below illustrate.
