Living with the consequences of poor political leadership
It was sad, but not really surprising, to learn from a German colleague that the British political situation has become something of joke in Europe. This is not to say that many of our European counterparts don’t have problems of their own, but certainly the turmoil in British politics has been a long running saga that seems never ending – and just when we think it can’t possibly get any worse, somehow it does. For the career politicians, the mud never seems to stick for long; for those of us in industry who have to live with the consequences, the issue is far from comical.
