Production trends and supply chain resilience drive reshoring efforts

It has been reported this year that some 58% of UK manufacturers have started reshoring their supply chains, and 90% of those are seeing positive outcomes, including enhanced supply chain resilience and a reduction in costs. It is encouraging, too, that the vast majority of manufacturers are planning to accelerate their reshoring activities over the next two years. As production runs become shorter and products change more often, having more control over your manufacturing operation and your supply chain is only going to become more important.
