Manufacturing output expectations strongest since 2022

Manufacturers appear confident that output growth will pick up in the quarter ahead, with expectations the strongest in over two years, according to the CBI's latest Industrial Trends Survey. This is feeding through to a more positive outlook for investment, and that will surely be good news for machine builders, who in turn will be able to demonstrate how the latest automation technologies can help manufacturers drive up their productivity.
