Manufacturing industry has the highest staff retention in the UK

At a time when vacancies in the manufacturing sector remain close to record highs, and given that the industry has historically seen high levels of employee turnover, it's interesting to read a new report from Vestd finding that our sector now has the highest staff tenure of any in the UK, with employees remaining with a company for an average of 5.3 years. Across all sectors, the data revealed that employees remain with a company for an average of just 3.7 years in the UK. It highlights yet again that manufacturing is an interesting and rewarding area to work in.

With best regards
