UK food and beverage robot installations surge ahead

Installations of robots in the UK's food and beverage sector increased by 59% in 2023, according to the latest data from the International Federation of Robotics. And the anecdotal evidence seems to suggest that investment in robots has continued into 2024 as food manufacturers look to optimise productivity and mitigate the labour shortage, despite the end of 'super deduction'. This can only be a positive development for our sector.
