Funding the transition to sustainable technologies

Over 75% of the global top 50 machine builders are actively promoting sustainability benefits in their machines, according to research from Siemens Financial Services. Energy efficiency, digitalisation through Industry 4.0, and circular economy initiatives such as retrofit and remanufacturing are top priorities, and they are leveraging finance to respond to their customers’ demands for sustainability-enabling technology and equipment. Stefania Moruzzi, business development manager at Siemens Financial Services, says: “The transition to more sustainable technology comes at a cost, at a time when capital is at a premium. Specialist finance solutions are intelligently designed to provide budget-friendly enablers of the green and sustainable transition – both for machine vendors and for their manufacturing customers.”
