Rapid growth forecast for global adhesives market

The global adhesives market has grown strongly in recent years, and the latest forecast suggests that the fast pace of growth will continue. The market that was worth some $84.6bn in 2023 has grown to $92.4 billion in 2024 at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.4%, and is forecast to grow to $130.87 billion in 2028 at a CAGR of 9.0%. Much of this is attributed to increased demand from the automotive industry, as well as the building and construction sector, and with a strong contribution from the packaging industry. Major trends in the forecast period include automation and instrumentation solutions, adopting 3D vision systems, investment in rapid curing adhesives, and a focus on developing innovative products.
