59% of manufacturers aren’t prioritising automation

Research from law firm Walker Morris reveals that 59% of manufacturers are not prioritising automation - despite rising global competition, supply chain volatility, skills shortages and relentless production costs. The warning from James Crayton, partner and head of commercial at Walker Morris, is that as the demand for faster, more sustainable and cost-effective production grows, manufacturers that fail to embrace smart technologies may struggle to keep pace.
