Food industry shouldering unprecedented financial pressure

Food and beverage businesses are navigating the most challenging financial environment in years, according to the latest report from compliance expert, Ideagen. In its latest Food Industry Audit Report, 64% of businesses cited credit as their top anxiety, while regulatory pressures and labour shortage were also key concerns. Looking at how food manufacturers can navigate these pressures, Ideagen CEO Ben Dorks said: "Technology platforms that integrate quality management, compliance and supply chain visibility can deliver both operational efficiency and strategic advantage - turning challenges into opportunities even in tight markets.”
