We are really excited as we enter a new phase in the opening of Heathside Walton-on-Thames.
Following National Offer Day on 1st March, all parents/carers who applied for a place for their child for Year 7 Entry in September 2022 should have received an email from us on Tuesday 1st March notifying them whether or not their child has been offered a place at Heathside Walton. If you made an application and have not seen an email please do check your junk mail and if it is not there, please let Mrs Parrish know via email to:
admissionshwa@heathside.surrey.sch.uk and this will be checked.
Parents/Carers who were offered a place have until
15th March to accept or decline the place. After 15th March, it will be possible to let you know your child’s position on the waiting list.
We realise there are disappointed parents/carers and children who were not offered a place and they will go on the waiting list and remain on it until July 2023. If places become available, they will be offered to parents in line with the admissions criteria for September 2022-23 entry. Please remember that you will need to accept your local authority offer if you have not been offered a place at Heathside Walton.
Information will be shared with parents over the coming weeks but in the meantime please be advised that the start of term for new year 7 students will be
Monday 5th September.
