The Sky’s the Limit 

Ever considered flying robots? Unmanned Arial Vehicles (UAVs) are revolutionising the way we work in industry, healthcare and wildlife conservation. In this challenge, learners explore how engineers design, adapt, and test UAVs and use creative problem-solving to prototype their aerial solutions. They set their own success criteria and test, tweak and triumph!
Pipe Pioneers 

Step into the world of civil engineering robotics to find out how the world beneath our feet is kept in shape. From robots that inspect our underground pipelines to those that ensure we have regular access to clean water and gas.
In this challenge, learners design and prototype a robot capable of working in underground extreme environments. 
Curriculum links: 

Design & Technology: Select from a wide range of materials according to their characteristics.
Science: Plan and carry out scientific enquiries to test predictions. Make and record observations.
Literacy: Communicate their ideas through discussions.
