City centre regeneration brochure hitting doorsteps this week


Wakefield Council has developed a brochure to update locals on various projects to regenerate Wakefield city centre. If you live in Wakefield or have a business there, your copy will be delivered this week. You can also read it online.

Wakefield Council buys old Westgate railway station


Wakefield Council has bought the old Westgate railway station for hotel and office development but in the current economic climate, the hotel is the preferred development, so the site will be phased to enable the offices to be built at a later date.
