Eating Disorders Community Support Worker
Grade: Band 4 - £26,530 - £29,114 per annum (pro rata for part time) Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours per week Site: Hopewood, Nottingham
As part of the Community Eating Disorder Service and with support from the Multi-Disciplinary Team the post holder will work with service users to implement agreed plans to maximize independence in relation to daily living and access a wide range of educational, volunteering, employment, sports, leisure and creative activities to support the service user’s recovery. Clinical supervision will be provided by a qualified team member.
The post holder will be predominantly based within the CYP (Children and Young People) Eating Disorder Team but at times may be required to support treatment within our Adult Eating Disorder Service. Our main base is at Hopewood, but the post holder will be required to travel to other bases, alongside offering home treatment and community outreach work.

Contractor Escort (Bank)
Grade: Band 2 - £11.44 per hour Hours: Bank Site: Rampton Hospital, Retford.
An opportunity has arisen within the Security Department at Rampton Hospital as a Bank Contractor Escort. You must be flexible and be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. A security background is desirable but not essential. There may be a requirement to operate specific security systems and equipment within the entry building.
You will work as a member of a large team of staff within a high secure Hospital. You will have responsibility for escorting contractors within the secure area of the hospital, controlling the movement of both Contractors & vehicles, you will also be required to account for all contractor tools at points throughout the day. The aim is to provide a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, contractors and staff. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision and be capable of working in a people orientated environment within a secure setting.

Christmas gift appeal 2024!

Nottinghamshire Healthcare Charity is calling on its local community to help make Christmas brighter for patients spending the festive season in their hospitals and units.
The charity's Christmas Gift Appeal aims to spread the joy of Christmas with those patients who would otherwise not receive a gift, particularly for those who have no family or if their loved ones live far away.
Nurses and hospital colleagues have pulled together a wish list of suggested items to donate to help make a difference and bring warmth and a sense of home to their hospital stay this Christmas. These include:

- New blankets, shawls, soft socks, slippers, and scarves
- Puzzles, crosswords, Sudoku books, and colouring books with colouring pencils
- Fidget toys, stress balls, sensory blankets, and aromatherapy products
- Hand creams, gentle soaps, lip balms, and unscented lotions
- Individually wrapped snacks or treats
- Reusable water bottles, mugs, and easy-grip drinking cups.
Donations can be made at the following drop off locations:
