This exciting role offers the opportunity to be the Personal Assistant to the AHP Lead and Therapy and Education Service Manager at Rampton High Secure Hospital. In addition to providing vital administrative support to clinical staff, the postholder will also be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of admin staff within the service, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Working under the direct supervision of the AHP Lead and Therapy and Education Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the team and enhancing service delivery.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need to be educated to NVQ Level 3 or have equivalent knowledge and experience, with a strong background in a similar role — including staff supervision. Key skills include extensive experience with Microsoft packages, data extraction and analysis, diary and email management, and supporting recruitment processes. You’ll also need excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to work independently, and a solid understanding of procedures for maintaining a safe working environment. Experience with patient information systems, preparing meeting agendas, minute-taking, and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines will be essential to success in this varied and rewarding position.
