IMPACT Senior Administrator
Grade: Band 4 - £26,530 - £29,114 per annum (pro rata for part-time) Hours: Part time - 30 hours per week Site: Duncan Macmillan House, Mapperley, Nottingham
Since October 2020, the responsibility for commissioning adult secure care mental health, learning disability, and autism services has transferred from NHS England (NHSE) Specialised Commissioning to Provider Collaboratives (PCs). There are fifteen Provider Collaboratives nationally, each coordinating and delivering care for adult patients requiring low and medium secure services.
The Provider Collaborative for the East Midlands is called IMPACT. It is a partnership of nine NHS and independent sector providers, led by Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust as the Lead Provider. The other organisations in the collaborative include Cygnet Healthcare, Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Elysium Healthcare, Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust, Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Priory Healthcare, and St Andrew’s Healthcare.
To ensure integrity and avoid conflicts of interest, Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust established an arms-length commissioning and clinical oversight function known as the IMPACT commissioning hub. The hub’s role includes understanding the needs of the local population and enabling clinicians and Experts by Experience to shape better care pathways. Through the Lead Provider model, IMPACT also sub-contracts other providers to support safe discharges, assure service quality, and lead regional and national reporting to NHS England.
