Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours per week
Site: Gedling Local Mental Health Team, Nottingham

We are excited to be recruiting two full-time Social Workers to join our Local Mental Health Teams (LMHTs) - one based at Gedling and the other at Broxtowe and Hucknall. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing social work workforce within Nottinghamshire Healthcare, where social workers play a vital role in improving mental health outcomes by addressing the social determinants of health and applying a human rights-based approach.

As part of a multi-disciplinary community mental health team, you’ll support a caseload of individuals whose social circumstances are impacting their mental health. Using relationship-based practice, personalisation and strength-based approaches, you will help people make positive, self-directed changes. You’ll also represent the social work perspective within the team while applying interventions and psychoeducation to support recovery. In return, you’ll benefit from dedicated social work training, supervision and the opportunity to develop additional skills needed to thrive in a community mental health setting.
