About your Commissioner     |     Funding     |     Performance     |    Contact

We're wishing Surrey residents a very happy and safe end to the year and a wonderful start to 2025.

Watch our Christmas message from your Police and Crime Commissioner Lisa Townsend and Deputy Commissioner Ellie Vesey-Thompson below:

For our Christmas card, we invited children and young people from around the county to send us their festive artwork.

This year’s fantastic snowman design was drawn by Felix, seven, who lives in Reigate.

It now features on every card sent by Police and Crime Commissioner Lisa Townsend and her Deputy, Ellie Vesey-Thompson.

Felix will enjoy his prize – a family trip to Bocketts Farm – with his brother and sister, five-year-old twins Edith and Oscar.

Mum Jennifer said Felix gets his love of art from his grandad, and the two often spend time drawing together.

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner has a fund of £275,000 specifically for initiatives and organisations that support children and young people in the 2024/25 financial year.

Lisa said: “It is a privilege to serve everyone living in this lovely county, and I hope all our readers have a happy and safe Christmas."

Ellie said: “We both loved Felix’s festive design, and he was our clear winner.

“On the back of this year’s card, we’ve shared the best ways to contact Surrey Police – so we expect that it will still be stuck to fridges around the county long into next year!”

Lisa and Ellie also chose two runners up for the competition.

These lovely pictures - drawn by (on left) Lexie, eight, and (on right) Dhanvi, nine - were also printed on 12 Christmas cards for family and friends.

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner will be closed from 2pm on Christmas Eve until 8am on Thursday, January 2.

Emails and web forms can be sent, and answerphone messages left, but they will not be monitored or actioned during this time.

Surrey Police can be contacted via 101, digital 101 or 999, 24/7 every day of the year.
