C the Signs NW London contract announcement

We are pleased to announce that following a robust procurement process, NW London Integrated Care Board (ICB) has awarded C the Signs with a three-year contract to provide primary care with continuing access to its comprehensive cancer workflow and clinical decision support system.

C the Signs helps identify patients at risk of cancer, identifying the tumour type and recommending which test, diagnostic or cancer referral is indicated, and allowing you to quickly action these.

Already used by the majority of practices across NW London, C the Signs has demonstrated a positive impact on cancer detection and has improved clinical and administrative processes.

We are delighted to continue working with C the Signs to deliver on the NHS priority for improving the earlier diagnosis of cancer by supporting practices to improve cancer workflows.

C the Signs has exciting plans for working in partnership with NW London to further improve and develop their service. Further details to follow.

Cost of living support

Remember there is support available as we move into Spring.

We know many of our residents are still struggling with the cost of living. It’s important to remember there is still support available. This can include schemes and discounts to help individuals and their families, and those who are disabled or are Severely Mentally Impaired (SMI).

Our cost of living pages act as a ‘one-stop-shop’ for information about these schemes, as well as local support and advice about the cost of living.

The pages now include information about the NHS Healthy Start Scheme. It is designed to help support parents with the costs of buying milk, fruit, vegetables and instant formula, along with other selected items. It is open to parents with children under the age of four who meet an eligibility criterion.

Access our pages here.

World sleep day – Keeping Well NW London

Friday 15 March is World Sleep Day. For health and social care staff, factors like working shift patterns can have a big impact on the quality of staff’s sleep. Poor sleep can in turn impact our mood and how we feel.

You can find more information, support and resources on the Keeping Well website sleep page, and ways to get involved with World Sleep Day here.
