Update on IT outage affecting some of our general practices

All practices in Brent, Harrow and Hillingdon were affected by an IT outage, as were  Dormers Wells practice in Ealing and Spring Grove practice in Hounslow.

Practices affected by the IT outage are likely to take a day or two this week to return to full capacity, meaning there may still be some delays in telephone appointments, accessing and updating patient records and telephone numbers and issuing prescriptions.

Measles – it’s more than just a rash (new walk-in clinic dates added for the summer holidays – no need to book)

The early symptoms of measles can cause your child a lot of discomfort, but the infection also puts them at risk of much more serious health risks. If it spreads to the brain or lungs it can result in difficulty breathing, blindness, hearing loss or brain damage.

Measles is highly contagious and there has been a rise in cases across north west London. The MMR vaccine is the most effective way to prevent the spread of infection.

If you have any questions about the vaccine, talk to your GP or visit your local walk-in clinic, no appointment needed.

Lots of new walk-in clinic dates have been added over the summer holidays, the full list of walk-in vaccine sites can be found here.
We want your help - complete a survey about NHS 111

NHS England would like to hear from people who have accessed crisis mental health care services through the NHS 111 ‘select mental health option’ service.

The National Operations Centre has published a survey to gather feedback on how people are finding the service and the quality of support they have received.

Responses collected through the survey will be analysed to identify areas where improvements can be made to enhance the quality of care provided.

The survey can be found here.

Would you like to be part of a conversation

Vaccination rates are dropping in London causing more preventable diseases to spread. We’re looking for people from our communities to be part of a campaign that promotes conversations about all vaccinations.

See the attached for details.
