Welcome

Welcome to our community update. This is NHS North West London's newsletter for local community and voluntary groups.

We would encourage you to help us by sharing the relevant content in your community newsletters and email updates aimed at your members and residents. You may also use this wording in social media posts. Images and some campaign materials in different languages are available on our resources page.
GP access survey

We thank patients for sharing your views. More than 95,000 patients in NW London responded to the recent survey on access to general practice. Results are now being analysed in detail and we will report them soon.

Javina Sehgal, Executive Director of Primary Care at NHS North West London, said, “I am delighted with the incredible response to our survey, with over 95,000 residents sharing their feedback. This level of engagement speaks volumes about the importance of this issue to patients. Their feedback will help shape our work on improving access to general practice and primary care. My thanks to all our 45 primary care networks and their 326 constituent member practices for sending the survey out to their patients and my thanks to each and every resident who took the time to contribute. We are listening and your voices will make a difference.”
Two new partnership boards in Ealing

We want to hear from people who would like to be part of the new boards:
  1. The Older Adults Partnership Board
  2. The Physical Disabilities, Sensory Impairment
    and Long-term Conditions Partnership Board.
Partnership boards are groups people coming together to make life better in Ealing for people with support or care needs. The boards include people who work for social care, education, the NHS, representatives from community groups and, most importantly, people in Ealing with lived experience. They usually meet every three months.
