Pharmacy opening hours during the festive season
Your local pharmacy can offer advice on a range of illnesses, such as coughs, colds, sore throats, ear infections and aches and pains. They can also give advice about medicines.
Due to the different opening hours over the festive period, we are also encouraging residents to make sure they have the medication they need by ordering and collecting prescriptions in good time.
Give your views on community specialist palliative care
Palliative care is the treatment and support provided to people who are terminally ill. It focuses on improving quality of life by managing symptoms, relieving pain and addressing any side-effects of a patient’s condition. It also provides emotional and practical support for patients, families and carers.
The NHS is consulting on how we can make improvements to the palliative care services provided in north west London in the community, at home or in a hospice.
Residents are invited to attend a range of events and also complete a questionnaire.
This December, residents are invited to attend health check and vaccination events in Ealing. Trained professionals will be available to give flu and COVID-19 vaccinations to eligible people, and also offer blood pressure and blood glucose level checks.
