Compassionate care for all – improving adult community specialist palliative care in north west London

With less than one month to go, we want to make sure as many people as possible have the opportunity to give their views and provide their feedback. Thank to you everyone who has contributed so far, your contributions have been very valuable and insightful.

One area that people have asked us to provide more information on is enhanced end-of-life beds and we have published an article on our website in order to do so. We have also updated our frequently asked questions. We have also published an easy read summary of the consultation document plus questionnaire.

People can provide feedback in a variety of ways.  Your feedback is crucial in shaping a compassionate and effective palliative care system.

Share your views - through our online questionnaire.

Download a paper questionnaire, complete it, and send it to us at our address, FREEPOST, HEALTHIER NORTH WEST LONDON (no stamp needed) or simply write to us using the freepost address or email nhsnwl.endoflife@nhs.net.

Join the discussion about the NHS 10-year plan

It’s important that our residents and stakeholders reflect on and discuss what you’d like to see in the NHS 10-year Plan. The document will inform and shape how our NHS will look over the next few years.

Healthwatch Brent, Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster are hosting a series of events to create a conversation with the local community about the future of healthcare, in partnership with NHS North West London

Your feedback will directly inform the development of the government’s 10-Year Plan for England, and will help to inform local priorities for the healthcare system.

Please note select events offer a £10 Love2Shop voucher to community participants!

North West London publishes joint forward plan

The annual Joint Forward Plan (JFP) for health and care services in North West London has been published for discussion.

All integrated care systems (ICSs) are required to publish an annual JFP,  setting out their  key programmes of work and actions over the next five years. This year’s draft plan – which will now be discussed with local authorities in each of our boroughs at local Health and Wellbeing Boards – builds on the objectives and priorities we set out last year.

It should be noted that ‘Joint’ in this case refers to integrated care boards (ICBs) and their partner NHS trusts, and not the NHS and local authorities.

We welcome comments and feedback on our plan from residents and communities in north west London. If you have any comments or queries, please email us at nhsnwl.communications.nwl@nhs.net.
