A Hillingdon borough webinar and a further Hammersmith and Fulham borough webinar have been added to the list of webinars as NHS North West London seeks feedback from local residents on potential service options for delivery of the new model of care for adult (18+) community-based specialist palliative care.

The Hillingdon borough focused webinar will take place from 10 to 11.30am on Tuesday 05 December 2023 and the Hammersmith and Fulham borough focused webinar will take place from 1 to 2.20pm on Monday 04 December 2023. We have currently held five webinars in Hammersmith and Fulham, Brent, Hounslow and Ealing, Bi-borough (Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea) and North West London wide. We also attended the Joint Health and Wellbeing Board of Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster on the 23 November 2023.
You can view the videos by clicking on the above links. The feedback that has been provided has been challenging at times but very useful and we look forward to having further conversations at future meetings.
The proposed new model of care has been co-designed over the last year by a working group of NW London residents, along with clinicians, NHS providers and charitable hospices with the ultimate goal of making sure there is improved access to high quality services.
We are now ready to look at what that means in practice and during the webinar we will share the various potential service options that have been developed and ask for people’s feedback and answer questions. Attendees will also have the opportunity to put forward their own suggestions of potential options to be considered if they think we have missed or not thought of something.
The webinars are being held at a borough or North West London level so there is plenty of choice as to the event you can attend. The only exception is Harrow which will be delivered in partnership with Harrow Carers and is face-to-face. The full list of future webinars is below.
